RACE RECAP
Chandler Smith spent the first two stages keeping the No. 38 Ford clean and the final stage making the Faith Fest 250 look settled. He took the lead off pit road for the Lap 152 restart, led every remaining lap and beat Front Row Motorsports teammate Layne Riggs by 8.479 seconds. The final 99 laps ran without a caution, leaving the field no late restart to erase Smith's advantage.
Riggs started from the pole and won Stage 1, while Carson Hocevar led 74 laps before a cut left-front tire dropped him two laps down and left him 27th. Ty Majeski used pit strategy to win Stage 2. Smith finished third and second in the two stages, then converted that track position into 105 consecutive laps led, his second straight North Wilkesboro victory and the ninth Truck Series win of his career.
The afternoon was run in punishing heat, and only the top 10 finished on the lead lap. Shane van Gisbergen finished third, Christian Eckes fourth and Landen Lewis fifth. Post-race inspection confirmed Smith as the winner, making the Front Row 1-2 and the largest short-track margin of victory in Truck Series history official.
