RACE RECAP
Carson Kvapil took the lead from Ross Chastain on Lap 79 and held off a charging Justin Allgaier to earn his first O'Reilly Series victory in his 64th start. Allgaier closed to 0.283 seconds at the white flag, but Kvapil completed a clean final lap and won by 0.643 seconds.
The race developed through long green-flag runs. Jeremy Clements won Stage 1 before a slow stop cost him track position, while Rajah Caruth stayed out during the only natural caution to win Stage 2. Chastain controlled much of the final stage until Kvapil completed the decisive pass exiting Turn 2.
Kvapil led an unprecedented JR Motorsports sweep of the top four, followed by Allgaier, Chastain and Chase Elliott. The victory was JRM's 14th of the season and extended its top-10 streak to 79 races.
The win locked Kvapil into the Chase and moved him to second in the standings. Crews and Taylor Gray left Indianapolis above the cut line, with William Sawalich and Caruth still within striking distance entering the final two regular-season races.
