RACE RECAP
Justin Allgaier won the MillerTech Battery 250 presented by KOA at Pocono Raceway after taking the lead for good on a restart with two laps remaining. William Byron pushed Allgaier clear on the final restart, and Allgaier beat Brent Crews by 0.607 seconds for his fifth O'Reilly Auto Parts Series win of 2026.
The race was chaotic even by Pocono standards, with 18 lead changes, 10 cautions, 39 yellow-flag laps and a red flag for cleanup. Taylor Gray led 24 laps and won Stage 1 before late trouble dropped him to 17th. Crews won Stage 2 and finished second, while Byron, Sam Mayer and Sheldon Creed completed the top five.
Allgaier led a race-high 35 laps and scored 64.5 FantasyJolt points. The perfect lineup paired him with Rajah Caruth, Anthony Alfredo, Parker Retzlaff and Dean Thompson for 330.45 points on $49 salary.
Caruth was the slate's key value, climbing from 26th to seventh with Stage 2 points. Alfredo added a sixth-place finish at an $8 salary, while Retzlaff and Thompson turned lower-salary stage and laps-led scraps into perfect-lineup value.
