RACE RECAP

Kyle Larson put on a masterclass at Kansas Speedway, leading 221 of 267 laps en route to a dominant victory in the AdventHealth 400. The No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet swept all three stages, qualifying on pole at 183.7 mph and never relinquishing control of the race. Larson held off Christopher Bell by 0.712 seconds at the checkered flag, with Ryan Blaney rounding out the podium in third.

The race featured 15 lead changes among 9 drivers and 7 cautions for 37 laps, but none of it mattered once Larson found clean air out front. Chase Briscoe and Alex Bowman completed the top five in a strong day for the Joe Gibbs Racing and Hendrick Motorsports stables. Josh Berry, Ryan Preece, and Chris Buescher rounded out a competitive top eight.

Larson's third victory of the 2025 season extended his points lead to 35 over Hendrick teammate William Byron, further cementing his status as the championship favorite heading into the summer stretch of the schedule.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

01Kyle Larson's total domination -- leading 221 of 267 laps and sweeping all three stages -- made him the must-have fantasy pick of the week with maximum stage points and the win bonus.
02Christopher Bell delivered a strong runner-up finish for Joe Gibbs Racing, proving he remains a consistent threat on 1.5-mile tracks even when he cannot catch the leader.
03Ryan Blaney's third-place finish continued his steady 2025 form, making him a reliable fantasy floor play at intermediate speedways.
04Alex Bowman quietly posted a top-five result, offering solid value for fantasy managers who rostered the No. 48 at a lower salary than the frontrunners.
05The 15 lead changes among 9 drivers show that while Larson dominated, the midfield battle was competitive -- rewarding fantasy managers who found the right place-differential sleepers like Josh Berry at P6.
