Kyle Busch reminds everyone why he's a legend, leading 37 laps to dominate Atlanta while Carson Hocevar charges from 18th to P2.
The King Returns
When Kyle Busch shows up in the Truck Series, the field knows what's coming — and Atlanta was no different. The Cup Series legend wheeled the No. 7 to a commanding victory, leading 37 laps and posting a whopping 72.7 fantasy points in the process. Starting third, Busch was in the mix from the drop of the green flag and never let the field forget who was in charge.
A Race of Two Halves
The first half of the race was dominated by Ben Rhodes in the No. 99. Starting from the outside of the front row, Rhodes led a staggering 70 laps and looked like the class of the field through Stage 1, where he finished second. For long stretches, Rhodes appeared to have the truck to beat — but track position on restarts and late-race strategy ultimately pushed him back to fourth. Still, 49 fantasy points and all those laps led make Rhodes one of the best fantasy plays of the week.
Corey Heim in the No. 1 pulled off one of the more impressive performances of the day. Starting 20th and seemingly out of contention early, Heim led six laps and won Stage 1 outright before racing his way up to P5. That's the kind of upside that makes Heim a fantasy favorite week in and week out.
The Surprise Package
Carson Hocevar in the No. 77 delivered the drive of the day from a fantasy-value standpoint. Starting 18th, Hocevar carved through the field to finish P2. That 16-position improvement is a fantasy goldmine, and it signals that Hocevar's team has real speed even when qualifying doesn't go their way.
Pole-Sitter's Struggle
Jake Garcia grabbed the pole in the No. 98 but could only manage a P7 finish. That negative differential hurts in fantasy formats, and it's a reminder that Atlanta qualifying speed doesn't always translate to race-day results. Meanwhile, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. started fifth and slid to ninth — not the charging run we saw at Daytona.
Ruggiero's Consistency
Giovanni Ruggiero backed up his Daytona P2 with another P3 finish in the No. 17. Two races, two podiums — the youngster is establishing himself as a weekly must-start in fantasy lineups.

Fantasy Takeaways
- Busch is matchup-proof when he enters a Truck race. 72.7 points is elite, and you pay up for him every single time he's on the entry list.
- Rhodes led 70 laps and still only finished fourth — but 49 fantasy points proves that laps led bonus is king. Don't sleep on the volume.
- Hocevar from 18th to 2nd is a cheat code for place-differential scoring. Monitor his qualifying — bad starts mean big fantasy upside.
- Heim won a stage from a 20th-place start. He's a weekly threat to outperform his starting position.
- Garcia on the pole to P7 is a cautionary tale — pole-sitters who fade cost you differential points. Proceed with caution.
