The O'Reilly Auto Parts Series gets no soft landing after San Diego. One week after the street-course reset at Naval Base Coronado, the series rolls north to Sonoma Raceway for 79 laps on a 1.99-mile road course that does not forgive lazy braking zones, missed curbs or fantasy lineups built only from the top shelf.

The official entry list gives the race its shape immediately. Connor Zilisch, Shane van Gisbergen and Ross Chastain are all entered, and each brings a Cup-level road-course profile into an O'Reilly field that already has enough regular-season volatility. Zilisch is the defending Sonoma winner. Van Gisbergen is the pure road-course hammer. Chastain gives Jordan Anderson Racing a driver who can turn restarts into position gain without needing a perfect car.
