LiUNA 150: Enfinger Wins Lime Rock's Last-Restart Fight

Sunday, July 12, 2026

Grant Enfinger took the lead with three laps left and beat Landen Lewis by 0.483 seconds at Lime Rock, surviving a red flag and a bruising final stage.

Race Summary

Grant Enfinger spent most of the LiUNA 150 outside the center of the story. Three laps were enough to change that.

Enfinger took the lead on the final restart at Lime Rock Park and kept Landen Lewis behind him to the checkered flag, winning by 0.483 seconds. It was Enfinger's 13th Craftsman Truck Series victory and his first on a road course. He started 12th, led only five laps and still left with the trophy because the No. 9 team was ready when a fractured final stage offered one last opportunity.

Layne Riggs had controlled the clean portion of the afternoon. The pole winner led the first 34 laps, won Stage 1 and finished with a race-high 48 laps led. Kaden Honeycutt won Stage 2 and remained Riggs' primary pressure point. Their contact on a final-stage restart sent the race in a different direction, and Riggs eventually finished 23rd.

The closing 40 laps became a survival test. Four cautions and an 18-minute red flag repeatedly stopped the race. Thomas Annunziata was running second when his truck caught fire with 22 laps remaining, bringing another interruption and removing one of the strongest late challengers. He was evaluated after exiting the truck.

Honeycutt had his own recovery to make. He fell as deep as 24th with 28 laps to go, then drove back to third. The official loop-data import also credits Honeycutt with the fastest lap. Lewis held second after the final restart, while Parker Kligerman and Christian Eckes completed the top five.

Enfinger's route was less spectacular and more precise. He stayed close enough through every reset, gained track position as contenders collided or encountered trouble, then controlled the decisive restart. Lime Rock rewarded the driver who still had a complete race left when the field reached its last green flag.

Key Takeaways

Enfinger turned patience into a road-course breakthrough

Five laps led can look modest beside Riggs' 48, but Enfinger led the only run that could decide the winner. His move on the restart with three laps left gave him a first road-course victory without requiring the dominant truck for the first 97 laps.

Honeycutt salvaged speed after losing track position

Honeycutt won Stage 2, led 14 laps and recorded the fastest lap. Falling to 24th late could have erased that work. His recovery to third instead made him the highest FantasyJolt scorer in the field at 61.4 points.

Riggs' dominant afternoon became a 23rd-place result

Riggs won the pole, Stage 1 and nearly half the race's laps. Contact amid the final-stage restarts converted the strongest early performance into one of the slate's most expensive disappointments.

Fantasy Recap

Honeycutt's stage win, 14 laps led, fastest lap and third-place finish produced 61.4 FantasyJolt points. Enfinger followed at 55.5, but his $8 salary made the winner the slate's defining value. Lewis scored 49 points in second, and Daniel Hemric reached 46 by pairing a sixth-place finish with points in both stages.

The perfect lineup used all four, then added Tanner Gray at $7. Honeycutt occupied Group A, Enfinger B, Lewis C, Hemric D and Gray E. The five-driver combination used the full $50 cap and scored 386.93 multiplied points. Colin Braun's charge from 33rd to 10th was the day's largest top-10 climb, even though the optimizer found more stage value elsewhere.
